School Deets is a school communication app that provides a multi-lingual communication platform. It allows parents to connect with local schools to stay up to date on school news.
Parents can select the primary language of their choice and receive participating school notifications that are translated into the parents native language. School personnel can choose to rapidly send a post with automatic translation or to send an English post to a bilingual school staff member to assist with translation.
With registration, the app provides instant notification of school updates allowing parents to receive real time information from anywhere they have a mobile device. School personnel can quickly form dynamic groups to send segmented communication. In addition, school personnel can assign groups to volunteers and extracurricular leaders, thus enabling the multiple members of a school community to effectively reach it's community members on a single platform. Ultimately, School Deets saves school personnel time and engages more stakeholders.
